Tote of Many Sleeves

I've been on a little hiatus from my blog as I was preparing for my purse party last night. Thank you to all who stopped by to support me. To those women who purchased a t-cycle item, I hope you find it fun and functional to use!

I would like to share the "Tote of Many Sleeves." (The soft-handed version was finished yesterday morning and snapped up last night by my friend, Thatcher, before I had a chance to take a photo.)

I have acquired a large collection of sleeves from all my projects, so I decided should use them in a tote.

For my tote, I chose 10 pairs of sleeves and cut them into 4" x 8" rectangles, using the hemmed edge as one of the long sides. Then I sewed the pieces together overlapping the hemmed edge to create the panel for the tote.

Here's the finished project.

The dimensions are 19" top width x 14" height.

I lined it in navy blue, because it's a good dirt color!
